Hey, sorry for not responding, I’ve been really busy this past week and didn’t even have any new chapters. I’m writing because I enjoy coming home from work and working on a chapter. If people like it, they add it to their collections; if not, they just skip it. I have access to the statistics. The work itself is purely a hobby for me, I’m not chasing views. It's enough to drop a few stones or leave a couple of comments for improvement, and I’ll take that into account
I agree with this — he's the most useless and illogical character of them all. Two of the world's top beauties fall for a completely unremarkable loser who didn’t come up with anything himself. All he did was compile already known information into a single simplified edition. In the very first chapters of my story, I even delayed Tang San’s meeting with Yu Xiaogang by two months so San would have more time to understand the Douluo world on his own. Plus, having Fu around really dampened his enthusiasm to become the disciple of someone whose ambitions and so-called research are highly questionable. As for me, it’s not certain I’ll go beyond the first part of Douluo. The later parts just don’t interest me that much. Once I finish the first arc, I might start a crossover fanfic involving several worlds, or a brand-new one altogether. Sometimes after work, I just enjoy sitting in silence and thinking about the next chapter. Though I’ll admit — it can be really hard to clearly convey the essence of a chapter, and writing it out can sometimes stretch into the entire night. Then I’m off to work, half-asleep. That’s also the reason there was no update yesterday. Editing chapters and translating them into English (which isn’t my native language) takes quite a bit of time too.
Well… Isn’t that the whole point of fanfics? Anyone can turn a canon character into a villain — that’s the easy part. What’s much harder (and, in my opinion, far more interesting) is introducing a new character who slowly and naturally becomes part of the story, without relying on clichés, excessive drama, or power that comes out of nowhere. A lot of fanfics fall into that trap — they end up as wish-fulfillment or dark fantasies, often lacking any real depth. That’s just not my style. As for my character — Fu doesn’t even know the canon, and honestly, I prefer it that way. I’ve never enjoyed stories where the protagonist knows everything in advance and becomes some kind of god because of it. There are tens of thousands of fanfics like that on Webnovel — 20 to 40 chapters of overpowered self-inserts, and most of them aren’t even finished.
La historia pronto tomará un rumbo distinto al canon, la intervención de Fu transformará por completo la realidad de Shrek.
Regarding the release of chapters, it's hard to say definitively; it's easier to indicate the volume. If I upload a chapter of 3000 words, then it will most likely be only 1 chapter. If the chapters are around 2000 words, then it will be 2. So far, I've been publishing 2 chapters to promote the book and get into the rankings, but this is only because the story is outlined a bit further ahead, and daily I only manage to write 1 chapter, followed by editing and then a high-quality English translation. Gradually, this publication rate will catch up to my latest chapter, and the publication will return to the normal schedule: 1 chapter per day or, if necessary, 4 chapters per week, which is considered the standard for publication. In any case, the chapters themselves are voluminous, and it might be necessary to split them into 1.5-1.8 thousand words each.
I don't want to spoil too much regarding the story, but the fact that she will have a positive attitude towards Shrek is certain, as is their positive attitude towards her. However, she will have her own story of gaining power, separate from Tang San and his companions.
Hehe😅 I don't argue that I was inspired by this skill) but there are still differences.
Oh, right — about 15 minutes later I noticed the mistake and re-uploaded the chapter. I mentioned it in the author's note 😅
The chapter describes Fu Huan's inner world, her loneliness, and her progress in mastering her unique abilities. At the academy, among other students, she feels isolated despite her strength. Reflections on the past and her connection to the ancient spirit, as well as the weight of her internal transformations, form the basis of her further development.
Fu Huan - The Beginning is a story where elements of Eastern mythology, intriguing characters, and epic battles intertwine. The protagonist, Fu Huan, is portrayed as a strong and mysterious figure, with whom it's impossible not to sympathize. The combat magic, based on manipulating space, adds uniqueness and tension to the plot. What I’ve managed to do is create an atmosphere in which characters gradually unfold, and their relationships become an important part of the narrative. My goal is not only to showcase adventures but also to delve into the characters’ inner struggles, as well as provide space for reflections on fate and spatial-temporal phenomena. However, despite the positive aspects, I understand that some parts could benefit from additional explanations or deeper descriptions. This is something I can improve in future chapters. Overall, I’m pleased with how the story is developing and hope that readers will enjoy Fu Huan's journey as much as I did when writing it.
