yah because using them earlier to scout or set up for a possible war to come would be silly it's not like they were swearing reality to him by chapter 4 then the story just decided he couldn't summon not only them but basically any demons till a few chapters ago were it jumped from minor demons to all 72 pillars also its never even mentioned his noble phantasms you know the ones that can destroy the world.

I wish it actually said what he could do it's inconsistent like when for magic it simply said it was repressed then when he used it once more the panel named less spells then before. or the time the panel said his speed and strength was in the same realm as Kratos then not 2 chapters later it claim he was peak human suddenly for to age.

yah like discipline or technique or knowledge all things he totally hasn't been training for several years Kratos is hard to please, or just forgetful so he keeps repeating himself.

our mc is from a world with no haki now he's in a world with haki that fact should make it easy to sense haki it's like if you suddenly gained a new arm you'd be hyper aware of it not the best example but it's the best I could think of so even if not at luffys level of talent Liam should still be close theoretically at least.

while mc can't use either in battle due to bs injury actually it makes sense why he was injured I'm just salty about our mc bring weaker then not just luffy but zoro and sanji run if it's still impressive he's so strong so quickly after transmigration.
