During the simulation though, his goal was to take risks to be able to be able to act as a Barbarian, so the simulation bought the ingredients to find trouble.

MToD doesn't exist at this point in the timeline. She only appeared about 2000 years after where we are now. At this point in time The Chained God isn't even around yet, nevermind MToD
