I remember finishing the first book close to this date, march 10 last year to be exact. It was a great book that introduced me to a whole new world of creative writing, and sparked my love for literature. This should've been at least 5 chapters long, not enough time to develop a backstory that's actually emotional. How can we empathize or feel anything for a character we've only known for a few paragraphs? wouldn't have been hard to at least give her some character. Also, for a legendary assassin clan, they're incredibly incompetent.
