I really like this story so far. That take on the system genre is really unique, and I just really enjoy the atmosphere and characters. I really like Albrecht, he feels really relatable, and I really love those few moments of the comedic undertone. It's just very enjoyable all in all. I also love how the worldbuilding is slow and gradual, leaving that mystery but not dumping everything at you at once, it takes the 'show don't tell' route. The writing quality is just a bonus really. Nearly no mistakes in the grammar or whatsoever, and the paragraph structure is smooth and lets you have an easy read-through and through. I really enjoyed this story, and I definitely am going to continue reading it. All in all, 5/5, worth your time.

The first chapter is pretty much a testimony to what you'll see further on. Plot twists, unexpected character and plot development, and all-out very intriguing and unexpected in terms of events. It tells the story of a villain protagonist in a very unconventional way, from their pov to be precise, and I rarely ever saw something like that here especially with such writing. All in all, worth your time. Absaloutly deserves a read.

After the knight did so, Wilford fixated his gaze on the dead beast before taking a deep breath. A wave of blue energy emerged from the young man's hands, slowly taking the shape of a certain object until he finally shaped it into a transparent bow made out of blue energy. And so, the two decided to rest for a bit under the sheltering shadow of the branchy tree while eating lunch, giving their horses time to rest too and regain some energy to continue the trip to the outpost.
