Half-breeds were an exception thanks to their human side and it was no wonder most Fae hated them. They killed animals for their diverse diet. After the incident today, Islinda was determined to get her head straight and put the plan into motion. Simply steal the medallion and get the hell out of this realm. Islinda couldn't help but stare at Maxi who watched the fight with unmatched enthusiasm while devouring her snacks. "Bumfry" was the name of the snacks and Islinda hoped to God it was a plant product and not derived from the bum of a Fae animal. yes! one of the main things I hate doing myself but makes cuddles so much better, nothing like clean sheets after a long night of exercise and a hot bath/shower

are you continuing to rewight this? if you don't want to or its going to be a wile id suggest splitting the story and having two separate versions instead of rewriteing directly over the old one. love the story so far and looking forward to whenever you get around to more updates 😊

ahh ya from here on its like a completely different book. Will you be editing this, if so when?? I bought 50 chapters at once a few chapters back because of the sale and I really liked the book so far. I would love to see it continue from the edited version.

ok ish still think the old lady should have had to pay her rent since she turned 18 if her house hadn't been transferred by then but at least this explains why she was kicked out and not Jiji :]
That wasn't a bad advice, actually it was her only option now that Jiji has kicked her out. Over the years, all the properties left by her parents were transferred to Jiji as her salary. - Rae_Read2yrCommented
At this point I hope she wouldn't be paying Jiji anymore . In fact Jiji should be paying rent.
She'd never forget the first time they found out about her curse, Jiji had locked herself up in her room just like this while her parents sat on the couch at the opposite end of the living room as her Mom bawled her eyes out. Poor girl had no idea what was going on. The only thing she knew was that Mr Fruggle and all the pets she'd gotten afterwards (with only the exception of Bubblegum) had mysteriously died. When her parents explained that to the pet shop owner when they went to get her another pet, the old man suggested taking the young girl for a reading to figure out if she was good with animals and the specific type in order to avoid breaking the girl's heart all over again. That was how they find out about her curse. Que loved animals and plants, but was forbidden to play with them ever since then which made her little heart ached. The next day Jiji packed her bags and left, but returned in a week when her only son died in a car accident and she had no place else to stay. Don't get her wrong, that has nothing to do with her. Jiji had demanded double of the amount she was paid earlier because and I quote "the girl is dangerous to be around and a high maintenance, no one would agree to be her nanny". Even though her parents weren't rich, they agreed to the nanny's demand but had her promise to stay with Que until she was old enough and settle down. That was the only reason Jiji is still with her. The next trip after that, her parents never returned. Jiji salary wasn't little, and as time goes on, all the properties of her parents were eventually passed on to Jiji as her salary. - Rae_Read2yrCommented
