But can we not be both a protagonist of our own and a part of the overall
This is a very interesting and original concept combining SCP with the villain trope
Yes actually looking at it from that way there has been character development and depending on where this novel goes it may just be the piece that leads to an amazing story good job man I look foward to it
Yeah we know if someone saw that and didn’t get it no need to call explain it’s either you know or you don’t but I also was excited when I saw the shout out to shadow slave
I’m compelled to write a review for this novel. This novel is a great one but I’ve just fully catched up with it. And I find that it has some major flaws. Character development. I mean the author attempts to do it with the death of Egil. But I’m afraid to say that was for naught. Alpheo remains a craven who hides behind his intellect and prowess. I mean when it came down to it in the battle that just happened most recently in the chapters the red day he feared. And it was not one of resilience. It was the same one he had when he was revolting as a slave at the start of this story. His character has flaws you don’t really see it until after the Egil death and his breakdown. But in all his parlays he’s self righteous and hypocritical. Self centered, narcissistic and lacking self accountability. The world is just against him and wants to take what he has and this goes against the absolute rational thinking promoted at the start of this story. Although his plans still great and not affected he is driven by emotion. He coddles his son despite his hatred for highborns and refuses to recognize his hypocrisy. I believe he still has space to grow. The story is good though and I think in pursuit of progression our author forgot character development.
I’m sorry does he really think the only reason they attacked him was because he wasn’t highborn not his insatiable ambition
Sorry I’ve just gotta continue this rant because it’s atrocious and he hates high born but he’s treating his son as such and being delusional say he does conquer everything there’s no way his son will never have to fight
He was smarter before and now he’s being driven by emotion all the time. Is it going to get better?
Author the novel is good but I feel like the character development has gotten worse as the story progresses he’s now self righteous and hypocritical I mean he knows he’s the one who caused them to come after him altogether it wasn’t just because he was low class but he’s filled with hate for high born when his children will be high born he even disliked that guy he got to make the civil war he’s deteriorating as time goes by.
Although you’ve dropped for a while still I’m nostalgic any potential for a revival
