I really enjoy the novel and its sequel. It might be uncomfortable and racists to others but for others it might be pride and nationalistic. As long as you get pass of those racist and uncomfortable part of the story, it is entertaining and fun to read. The battles and wars might be few and in between but it is really good and satisfying. SPOILERS: Especially the arcs of the MC participating in the English Civil War, the war against the Danish Kingdom (I Think, somewhere North) and supporting the Habsburgs is really fun and entertaining.

I really enjoy this series and also the sequel, if we can just go pass the racist and pro-chinese sentiment of the novel, it is really an interesting and fun thing to read, especially in the sequel where he scares the hell of the german princes of bringing his entire army for the negotiations.

sorry if that's how you see the story so far :( the reason I included the Asian region and states is that if you are given the chance to reincarnate during the 20th century, the Asian region is still largely an untap gold of manpower and resources and is easy to exploit but needed a different approach not the same of the past centuries as it is already at the age of the rise of nationalism in the east. I may sound a bad person, but for future wars of the Austrian Empire, it needed cannon fodders and a lot of it especially if you came from the future and knows how bloody a potential world war can be.
