Any good recommendations of that genre of novel?
You are talking about the actions of a child. De-escalation and foresight are learned traits. If it wasn't taught, then it isn't even a part of the conversation. There is a reason that parents are generally responsible for the actions of their children until a certain age. If you can't be bothered to teach your children expectations on how to respond to certain situations, then they aren't responsible when they act on instinct or the logic of a child in those situations.
This is definitely a teaching moment in which you would explain the alternatives that would have lead to even a satisfactory or compromising conclusion. If you as a grown ass man can't think of an alternative that would have tied up everything personally, then don't put the pressure of achieving something that even you aren't capable of on the shoulders of a child. If you knew this was a possibility, then you shouldn't have brought your children or kept them close where you could control the variables, not give your son shit for handling business in your place because you lack foresight or didn't teach them exactly how to respond to those situations. Bad parenting.
We spoil you with support and you spoil us with more chapters? Oh yeah.... With a story as good as yours that we're all constantly asking for more of, you should never have laid down that particular gauntlet 😅
Is that not the point? I thought this was written with the irony of the MC's thoughts when compared to this guy being obvious to everyone, but if this was unintentional and the author is writing this unironically, then shit thats absolutely sad 😅
