It has been six years since Izuku faced the harsh truth of him being a quirkless. His relationship with Bakugo had deteriorated. Earlier Bakugo only ignored him but now, everybody praising him for his quirk gave him a superiority complex. Now he didn't ignore him, but Izuku basically became the target of his group, they would bully and use the green-haired boy for experimenting with their quirks. Read the Title of the Fanfic, it may be some forced decision, which I too find difficult to swallow but I would try to give a possible explanation. Izuku, doesn't hate quirks, but wants to prove that a quirkless can be a hero too, as he later on in the story has some pretty ******** numbers regarding the suicides of quirkless cause of depression. So, why did he take All Might's quirk? Simple, he knows support items can tackle any quirk, but what if.... what if he really needs it? Instead of contemplating his naiveness that time, he considers using the quirks as his last resort or only when needed. It's like covering your eyes to enrich your senses. This doesn't mean u will fight blind, but it would surely help you. Hope you found it somewhat plausible.
"I am very grateful for your offer, I will accept your quirk but I will continue to achieve my dream of showing everyone that one can become a hero even without a quirk.
