I used the art of war as an example of what type of book he was reading. I didn't want to bog down this chapter too much since people are probably only here for the power fantasy. He would have read other books like the book of 5 rings, the prince, for whom the bell tolls, etc. He also would have supplemented his reading of those types of books with studying history. I just worded it wrong in the story because I was rushing. Have a good one.
The problem is that you'll have an office where the head of each office is a MSG, SMSG, or a Chief who have15+ years of experience in the field and know what they're doing in that office keeping everyone in line. Then the higher-ups decide to throw a lieutenant with much less experience in charge of those MSG's, SMSG's, and Chief's which leads to the Lieutenant just getting in the way of operations and making the entire area less efficient. Officers are put in positions that they're not ready for and make everything worse in order to get that officer some experience. The one's who are superior in whatever field are those with experience, whether they be a MSG, SMSG, Chief with the enlisted, or Colonels and the different General ranks for the officers. Being an officer doesn't make you smarter than an enlisted soldier.
There won't be another chapter until the 1st at the earliest. My laptop charger is broken so I can't access webnovel on something with a keyboard. I have a PC coming around the 1st so I'll write a chapter when I get it set up. I technically could write on my phone but I want to die whenever I use the phone's keyboard. I hope you guys understand and I hope you all have a good day. Noisymad
Yeah, but I've only ever heard bad things towards officers from anybody who has been in the military so I'm biased against that path. I could have done it better though.
Prosthetics.
Mc has a fight that plays off that weakness against a spear wielder later on in the story.
Because a properly made blade from a blacksmith can make $1000+ per item if made well on top of being a good outlet for stress, which mc needed at that point. The Mary sue point is valid though, mc is op and I try to make progression reasonable but I'm not always successful.
It's a dope line ain't it? Just in case you didn't read the Author's Note I would just like to say that the line isn't mine, it's from the book Star Wars: Bane: Path of Destruction, it's a good read if you're a fan of star wars since it gives the backstory for the rule of two (the reason that emperor Palpatine only ever took on one apprentice at a time when training a bunch of sith seems like it would be much more effective).
The individual power thing is what I want to go for with the Eikyo family, I should probably put in technological advancements focused on magic alongside the historical technology to make the world seem more real. As for the rise and fall of empires based on magic, I want to do that sort of stuff later on in the story, I wanted to keep Japan's government relatively simple so I could get my bearings with writing a story before I jumped into something more complex. Thanks for pointing this out for me, it pushed me to think about what I'm writing in a different way. I hope you enjoy the story whenever I finish the next chapter.
There might be a harem way later in the novel but it will need to wait until Shi gets older since he's currently around 10 years old which I'm not comfortable writing any form of romance for even if he has the mind of an *****. There will be a love interest when he gets a bit older but I don't know if I'll do a harem yet. I'll probably see what's wanted later on and make a decision based on that.
Not for a little while, I'm waiting until Shi gets a bit older in his new life because I'm kinda uncomfortable with writing romance for a 10-year-old even if he has an older mind. There probably won't be a harem for at least a while, if I do it. I have no idea how to write romance for one person, much less an entire harem. I might do it way later on in the story though, if people want it.
