I guess it's all the Latin based languages that are phrased similarly. American English is also super far from the norm specifically as orthodox English is extremely similar to other Latin based European languages ... also sorry to go on a language rant

as a linguist I find in most aspects many other languages make much more sense. and strange enough English is the only one aside from maybe German that is phrased that way it is. (I've only studied like six...and not all conversational)

this is rather interesting I found the switching between characters a bit distracting though. seemed too fast for flashbacks, would have made it better to kind of solidify it a bit more.
