Imagine if everything that disappeared during each loop all flowed back after escaping the island and he forms his next core or smth.

He had earned a few Memories himself inside the loop, as well as a fair number of fragments. Sadly, none of them remained. At the start of each revolution, the fragments were erased, and the Memories disappeared as if they had never existed.

Might as well go with a desert eagle if he’s going to do a handgun

Just like that, he gained a new Memory at the cost of a few shadow strings.

I was taught in sailing as a kid that they are called booms because that’s the sound it makes when it hits your head. You reminded me of a funny memory so I thought I would share :)

The masts, booms, and spars required some repairs to be done, too. That task was accomplished by Nephis with the help of the materials they had brought from Weave or salvaged from the debris of the ghost ship and the Dark Shaper.

Sunny could see the shadows in his soul before he had weavers mask. He could see the carapace demons and others he killed or was given credit for killing like Auros and the terror from his first nightmare which was all prior to receiving the mask

"However, Odysseus once descended into the underworld, where he saw the shadows of the dead. Among them was the forlorn shadow of Heracles… so, when I was a child, I always wondered how Heracles could both be a god and a lost shadow in the land of the dead."

Hmmm… what if the only way to reach the pyramid is at night? Like it’s a mirage always on the horizon during the day, and phases into solid mass at night?

Indeed, the true horror of the Nightmare Desert — the dead soldiers that endlessly continued their ancient battle in the darkness, night after night, as they had for thousands of years — had not entered the waking world during the Chain of Nightmares. That was because most of them were too terrible and powerful to step through Category Three Gates. Now, though… now, things would be different.

I don’t think they are cut off due to the fact of them summoning luminous memories when they entered. Unless of course they did that at a point when the space wasn’t affecting them.

Soon, the smell of cooking food brought everyone inside the Rhino to the lounge area. Even Professor Obel and Beth woke up because of it. Sunny secretly studied the old man, trying to ascertain his condition.

Oh and she can just use soul essence to do that but it doesn’t go as fast or as far as a bullet shot by a firearm does. That was shown in her first spar with sunny when she didn’t use any weapons at all.

…If there was one thing that he had failed to do, it was turning Samara's destructive rifle into a Memory. Sunny had really wanted to, but no matter how hard he tried, the high-tech weapon was just too intricate, complicated, and contained too many moving parts.

Did he bring the knife from the sanctuary? Because if not that might be a reason to turn back first. Unless the knives weren’t actually integral for the nightmare like Mordret had insisted in the first place…

However, now, things were different. The first time he had fallen into the Sky Below, he was alone and desperate, without any way to escape and no certainty of what awaited him below. This time, he was surrounded by people, knew where he was going, and that they would be able to turn back at any point, if need be.

I only costs essense to summon from the soul sea. Once they are summoned, unless using an active enchantment, they don’t require any more essense. Conversely, once they are recalled back to the soul sea, normally that would return the essense used during the summoning. For this specific situation however, desummoning the coffer would just drain that essense due to the runes and be unable to resummon until they get out somehow.

This was indeed a jail cell built to contain Awakened. Without shadow essence, he wouldn't be able to use Shadow Step to escape. More than that, he couldn't summon Memories anymore — manifesting them into reality demanded essence, as well, even if it was a tiny amount.

That makes sense to me. But I have to ask, since we know that mordret could make echos with his ability I wonder if they have someone with a similar aspect that did the same to act as guards?
