The story is hard to follow. If you miss a single word the entire chapter becomes confusing with how dense the writing is. Don't get me wrong, the story idea and the story itself is pretty good, but there's just a few things that I don't like. I'm picky when it comes to stories.

Lol yeah I felt a little of that too. I could have dealt with it better if SOMETHING went right for any of the main characters. But no, you have to make everything depressing by having the characters keep secrets from each other and NOT share CRUCIAL information just to progress the plot. Pretty much every author has their quirks that someone doesn't like. You can't make everyone happy. I was actually on JKS's patreon for a while but stopped paying. Its a once a year payment so its a pretty high initial payment that doesn't account for vacations or events throughout the year. JKS just didn't upload for half the year so I gave up on that.

The novel that started it all for me. Although I could read fantasy books instead this had an addicting attraction that made pausing difficult. It was a way to escape reality and forget about all the bad stuff going on. My heart says a full 5 stars but my mind says 4 stars. I compromised.

oh I think I know what Aina meant by the mask. I think she went through something terrible in her starter zone and ended up disfigured. just a theory. if not it's related to the banishment from her clan.

I agree but you also have to think about the fact that the government knew about everything. The way it played out it seemed like the government was behind it all from the beginning so I could completely understand his actions. I just wasnt satisfied with the ending. it felt like the author was 75% of the way done and got tired of writing. all in all it was a great read

This story would have been perfect if we ignore the ending. If we knew there would be a continuation then it would be fine but the way it ended is abrupt. Ignoring that part the story is probably one of the most addictive I've read so far.

Story was amazing. My only complain was the ending. We finally got to the final confrontation where Roland and everyone were supposed to fight invaders but nothing ever happened because the story ended.

Couldn't Kai theoretically use the power of oscillation to atomize literally anything? He just has to find the right series of frequencies and contain them in a specific area. Also just speculation but maybe he could reinforce his body with magic and oscillate himself at the proper frequency of air so he can phase though things like the flash.

This is an amazing story. It's just a little dark. I now find myself accustomed to reading about detailed torture which I find quite disturbing...

Just realized the way they worded his system. "Cant learn the master skills of other systems" does that mean he'll unlock master skills of his own system? maybe a copy skill where he can use any master level skill once then has to relearn it or something.

Knowing the author I might as well give my rating before it comes out. I'm not a picky reader. I've read some pretty garbage novels in terms of writing just because I like the story progression. The author managed to nail it on every novel written so far.

I don't like stories that change POV's faster than chapter titles but this has held my interest somewhat.
