He can detect lies, it would have been interesting that she lied
Hello, glad to see you here. It's still present in that one (Garaches, Ganipotes, Horsemen), there will be changes surrounding those things though. And Amandla, Suzaku and Declan will still be there.

I honestly can’t remember the last time I read a story that felt this well written and well balanced. I don't think there is that much lore dump, just enough information for the worldbuilding to feel grounded in my opinion, and since it's just the beginning of the novel and the world is semi-fictional, I feel it's normal to have a lot of information. The characters feel real, the story is really interesting even through it's not my genre of predilection. I really hope you keep going author, because this story has so much potential.
That's a story that truly stands out from the rest. It's refreshing to see something this original at a time when so many stories are becoming increasingly standardized. The only criticism I could make would be the length of certain paragraphs, which can make the reading experience a bit difficult. Aside from that, I have nothing else to complain about. The writing quality is top-tier, and the characters actually have distinct personalities, which is unfortunately far too rare in most novels here. In any case, I am looking forward to seeing what comes next.
To start with, you did a good job conveying the emotions of Ismael to the reader, that's the strongest aspect of your novel, and I think it's something many other authors struggle to achieve or don't put importance in. Beyond that, it would be better to avoid writing overly long paragraphs, as they make the text a bit harder to read, and in some dialogues, it would also help if the speaker were identified more clearly. Other than that, the story has potential, and there is a real improvement in the writing quality between the first and the last chapter where in some novels it's the contrary, so I am looking forward to seeing where it goes.
