The reason was NOT for plot progression. I'm sorry that you feel the way that you do. This fanfic isn't for everybody and if you don't like it then you can go and read someone else's book. Everything that happens in my fanfic is for a reason not just to put something out there. I put a lot of thought and time into my work I am sorry you don't like it but as in real life and my book everything isn't always sweet and innocent there is ugliness and darkness in the world if a story is to be believable it must be included.
