Don't forget that this is pretty far in the future. Roughly a 1000 years ahead of our current time or even further. Humans would have changed to the point that the appendix would no longer be a part of them.

Not necessarily. It depends on the amount of magic you have. The older they get, the more magic, the longer the life. Five or six hundred years of age is technically possible

Sorry about the decrease in the number of chapters. I work a full time job on top of doing this and I have a small child that takes up a lot of my time. I mostly post on the weekends and will do my best to try and produce around eight chapters a weekend. I will also try to produce at least three others during the week.

Drawing a blank, he decided to draw inspiration from the shows that he had watched before. The first thing he had to think about was the armor. With that thought, he began to imagine an armor that would grow and self repair. He began with a necklace with a pendant on it. He used his energy to make it so that the pendant would be attracted to his skin since it always coursed with energy. Then he infused the pendant with a large amount of energy while condensing that power into a substance similar to mercury. This new metal that he had created would spread like liquid to where he wanted it to on command and harden up with a look similar to plate armor so that it would be durable but still cover his joints properly. - Matfield3yrReplied to Ezuku

During the time that Matt was sorting out his thoughts, they had already cleared the second floor and were beginning to clean up and fortify it so that the infected below wouldn't surprise them. Even after absorbing all of the infected that were on the floor, Matt didn't feel as though he had reached his limit on stored power which surprised him.
