What could have fixed all of this and not required any deleting chapters or changing stories is if he had eaten the meat in the beginning of the dungeon and it awakened his physique or something like that. Then all of this wouldn’t seem rediculous but make sense instead.

You’ve already learned how to create a shadow storage to store your undead… now just create a ball version… enchant the shadow inside a hollow pokeball you craft.
