I narrowed my eyes at her. Raine reached for the last steak but Ty stabbed it with his fork. A growl escaped Raines throat. Before Ty could take it off the plate Raine flicked her fork at his flipping it from his hand to steal the steak back. Ty retaliated by grabbing Slos fork throwing it at Raines hand sending the steak flying only to grab it midair. Lighting fast Raine had a throwing knife out tossing it towards the steak sending it into the wall behind him. Never again, no matter how much I wanted her I refuse to put her through that pain. Not until we found a way to get Rix out of her head. I understand why she didn't want Raine to be with me, her mate bond with Vericus was obviously rejecting Raines mate bond with me but why cause her pain? Was it a side effect of being trapped by Driak or was it something else? Whatever it was there was no way I could keep putting Raine through that pain. When she had got her silver eyes and I'd punched her her injuries had healed so fast they were gone in seconds. If Ty had the same ability then what did that mean. Ty didn't have silver eyes so if her healing didn't come from her eyes and Ty could do the same did that mean there was something else that caused them to heal ridiculously fast? If that was the case what caused it and why?
