So far 18 chapters released and I am hooked. Some may find the pace a little slow but it is just perfect for me. Ark tells his story with a smooth flow and reveals just what is needed so that the reader can find out the inner workings of the world. Story building at its finest! Ikaris starts of a little strong with his strong will but otherwise bad body. I prefer my MCs struggling as they climb the power ladder, but we don't know Ark's endgame jet. I hope for the story not to lose steam 😄👍

First 😄 I am an avid reader of the author's first novel The Oracle Paths and have high expectations for this new work. While this story promises to be a lot different to TOP, I look forward to great world building and twists.

This is false. Nuclear fallout resulted in her body deformation. The digestor half is only perceptible in her eyes. Her deformity was cured by the oracle when she was transported to B842. Sigmar's son was fully normal as well even though he was a half digestor as well. .

Even though I don't like it, I believe that they will end up together. It has been hinted a couple of times from Ark. In this ordeal Ruby is still a mess because of her digestor half, which makes her an enemy to Jake. She will likely bug him throughout the whole ordeal and come to a realization at the end, probably dying to Jake.
