story starts great. the more recent chapters (50+) seem to have dropped in writing quality. it written more like a draft than a fully written chapter. like in one spot mc thinks just the "irrelevant" instead of "it's irrelevant what others think." just need more fluff in the sentences

basically take a bunch of superhero tropes, throw in a world spiraling the gutter, and add a bit of darkness and grit. put those in a blender and you get worm. honestly not a bad read. basic summary is everything until the 80s happened, then golden man appears, people start getting powers on the worst day of their lives and get an itch to get involved in conflict. fast forward to 2011 and main char gets powers. she really wants to be a hero, but is a stupid teen who then decides to infiltrate a minor villain team and bring them to justice. but turns out they chill and become friends. add in kaiju who pop up every 3 months, basically the illuminati, more villains,and a wandering band of murderhobos. and that's worm in a nutshell. still more but read it to find out.

honestly i don't think the fruits had much to do with it. i think it had more to do with mentality. aokiji would have been more in the fight to disable akainu but not permanently as they are both marines. akainu would have been in the fight with full intent to kill so his justice prevails doesn't matter who stands in the way. by the time aokiji would have gone full force realizing akainu was actually trying to kill he would have been at a disadvantage catching up to akainu.

i think you missed a chapter on your patreon you have one listed as lackluster rewards. you mention the rewards in the beginning of this chapter but don't say what the rewards were.
