Pride and arrogance are two close but different things pride can turn into arrogance but in my mind arrogance cannot become pride as pride is how confident you are in yourself and things you are confident in while arrogance is what comes before the fall before a disasters and so the main character really should never act arrogant as arrogance can be broken and then he will suck.
Second, about his 'Sin Of pride' skill, most of you should have already noticed since I got some complaints about it. Were you expecting him to be all prideful and arrogant and never take an L? Yes, will it happen gradually? Yes, right now? No.
