"Redemption" from what? I have not seen/read anything wrong he has done, that he needs this so called 'redemption arc'. If someone could maybe point it out maybe I can get a better understanding.

He should be at a disadvantage, his a necromancer. Don't understand this addiction of trying to make the MC something his not, there's nothing wrong with him having weaknesses, especially ones that align with his class. What's the point of him being a pure necromancer but having more strength or similar strength than a pure swordsman or another strength based class? If everyone gets the same points then he will be weaker in every aspect due to him needing high mana, whilst dealing less damage due to class and overall having less points since Jay invests into mana aswell, weakening him overall.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 2 chapters in and we've established that Damien, was supporting his mother by raiding dungeons from the age of 11??? Also his close friend who's very promising and highly regarded in her guild won't take him along to a lower level dungeon, alone or with her guild mates to help him level up for some reason??? I mean makes sense so far,but hopefully (really hope) I read wrong.

Waiting for 1 - 2 updates a day is hard, need more. Great story! It's kinda weird though when you make great solid side characters with very good POV changes people don't like that. When you don't make good side characters who are "more than 2d" people don't like that. Which is why I think apps like these are bad for great authors, you change your story to fit people's wants which in turn hurts the story telling. I mean take LOM for example, I don't think it mattered to Fish how much people complained about POV changes but, they weren't given a choice in the matter and he completed his story with POV. Sometimes, you gotta make sure what your story needs goes above reader wants, you can't please everyone but you can most definitely write a great story. I do understand you did what you had to do but yea truly is sad you removed them. Keep up the good work need more.
