I love the fact that he is not op, It turns the struggles of the mc more meaningful. limitations are often the more interest part of storytelling, this is why hard magic sistem are more interesting to me, take witch hat atelier as a example of god magic sistem, without its limitations the story would not be interesting, is the strugle to overcame and work with them that turn the story meanigful.
