lotus took the empty witch, Han Sen was hiding in another room of the crystal palace when the fairy was brought to the 3rd gods sanctuary, so he didn't see the spirit that took her. he saw Saint fan, who marked him first, when the rhino ascended in the desert, then he saw lotus, who marked him second, when the empty witch ascended. when little silver ascended, he didn't summon a spirit so they're was nobody there either.
the explanation reminds me of "somehow, Palpatine returned" but honestly I'm fine with it, it's not easy to give a good explanation for why no technology, even steam engines, work. except for the teleportation devices. so you just leave it vague and nobody can poke holes in your explanation because it's basically a hole in itself
I swear, if the cosmic core or ruination get a physical body, I'm gonna... actually, you know what? I'm fine with it, let's see how that plays out, honestly.
I mean, I get your point. The author isn't consistent with a lot of things, but skills get boosts from a lot of things, comprehension of laws, dao's, random skill boost, boost from ruination essence and primordial essence. The reason Noah's fireball skill was so much better than the person from the nexus galaxy was because not only was he a controller in the law of fire, but he also had put skill points in it. I don't think, based on how that interaction went, that the character with the skill steal ability could steal the level of skill, let alone the skill points put in it, and surely not their comprehensive in a universal law that was boosting the skill to insane degrees, along with various other boosts. The MC is just boosted to a degree that really impossible to help track of, at this point.
I think it's because assimilation is a higher tier than being a controller, so it's not going to have an effect on it. like his skill he got at the very beginning that makes him a certain percent stronger than his base form didn't really keep up as he went through the ranks, either, my theory is that skills can only affect things of equal level, or to a certain level. he's had skills before that say things like "capable of killing all but the strongest of enemies" but they don't say "of equal level" but it's what it means.
my thoughts too, defeating a raid boss and watching all the loot fly up into the sky.
I think it's best if we stop trying to understand the size scaling in this book, maybe it's a translation issue, maybe it's creative liberties on the authors part, either way it doesn't make a lot of sense in most cases and that's okay.
boy this sounds like foreshadowing
my man needs the dollar store jade sun force, STAT!
surpassers are the ones who break the limits of the human body and yet, evolvers are out here turning into metal and bouncing off walls in gravity that's been artificially raised well beyond what humans are designed to handle. makes sense.
I think you're overestimating how much actual meat a frog or toad has....
not in this book it isn't.
good soup
nice
pretty sure it got up to 120%, but it hasn't had an impact on his power either way, even when it was only 50%.
cthulhu uses to be described as having eyes as big as stars, now he's only planet sized? that's been bugging me a lot recently, why scale him down?
well he's got the mana reserves of at least 1000 whole GALAXIES so I'd say yes
tiamat fully comprehended the grand Dao of destruction, maybe that's what changed it
you know, at first I was kind of against all the fourth wall breaking, but it's not bad, this whole book is like a running joke and I love it honestly
he's got his main body to keep track of, his two clones, and now a body in another galaxy. I know he's got several support skills to boost his mental capacity but Jesus, that's a lot
