I very much enjoy this novel. The world changes and everyone from earth has to adapt to this new world and lifestyle of the Oracle, passing Ordeals to become stronger as a civilization. Most ordeals are large group trials of similar species across the universe, so Jake has to battle millions of other humanoids to obtain a good ranking. An interesting novel crippled by the slow release rate of the author.
