Alright, alright, it's bloody midnight and I need to get this review off my chest. The writing quality could be rather improved upon, there are still traces of grammatical errors and misspells all across the board. Very much a fixable issue. The story is essentially speedy, at a constant rate of grinding for the sake of grinding. Now here's where I feel like I'm about to get a tad worked up on. The main character feels really really really, and I mean by really, bland. I'm not gonna lie here. He asks his system to outright make himself look like the "Shadow Monarch" and that he would prefer to look like bloody Naruto. Dear God that's a can of worms I've opened all too many times before. A zombie, a rotten, maggot-infested walking cadaver, wants to have his body look built like a human that's been training for bloody years on end, and this isn't me kissing the ass of either the light novel or the manhwa, no no no no no. This is genuinely me being confused upon this. I get it, the "zombie looks like a warrior" trope is really something people like, but by bloody Jove at least make it a bit more appealing than just asking the system to make him look like so, he literally has a system that slowly but surely transitions his physical form to at least be a shadow of what his status is. As for updates, well, they're good. It's a very decent average word count all things considered. And finally, the world background. Fantasy world with a ranking system based upon the levels you have attained. Also dungeons, but you already got the idea. Overall, it all levels out to being an average novel to me. Not the worst, I am more than certain than that. After all, it's not Ghosty. But it isn't exactly something that I'd read within a bookstore cafe wearing something bougie while I watching the light drizzle of rain pitter patter upon the window panes, you get me?
