Considering his power set, it was only a matter of time. You can’t have a Shadow Monarch without the other Monarchs to at least give him a slight challenge, and Antares as a sort of last boss (unless you’ve read the maybe-official-even-if-it’s-a-different-author-writing-it sequel, Ragnarok.)
