Well anither reason it could be instant is because he is no longer reliant on the Tower to move the mana for him. Mana bolt use to have a cast time then turned off the help mode and it dropped to instant

Just finished book one and i got to say. Immaculate. One the best novels that I’ve read. Cant wait to see how Lith grows theoughout the story.
