Yeah, I agree with you, honestly thought that after a few weeks of stacking chapters the plot would progress and get interesting. But it didn't, after the basketball game, it started to feel boring

The story seemed interesting until you read a few sentences. Don't know if English isn't the author's first language. But there are a lot of spelling mistakes, broken paragraphs or sentences, even chapters are painstakingly short, which doesn't even progress the story or add substance in some way. I'd recommend reading other works to see how they structure or outline their stories.
