So this definitely is a slow burn romance. It took us until the chapters in the 90s to actually get the romance to kick off. Part of the reason why is because the author is developing the characters and has them stick to their core values and personalities which makes this more realistic. This book also has developing mysteries and challenges that makes you hold onto as well as the romance. I am not caught up to the latest chapter, but I would encourage you to push on. It gets deeper as you go.
