I left the meeting and headed to the living room, where I had four people waiting for me. These guys are the ones helping me with the character designs for my NPCs. Right, I don't even know if I'll end up using all of them, but either way it doesn't hurt to get them set up. Plus, all I'm doing is using my favourite characters from my past life anyway. Like right now, we're working on Quinella from SAO—like how she looks full‑body, then her personality, and creating a backstory, then adding all the extra character flavour text. Sigh, so much to do, so little time.

There's also the buff of growing more expensive as time passes, which means, our wealth grows naturally, and even if we do make plentiful money, most of it is reinvested back into buying more real estate or precious metals and stones.

naw liquid assets are always a little bit better
Especially after being correct at several financial decisions, though, our family did not need to invest much since we were mostly old-money type rich, and had more hard assets than fickle stocks.
