As he ran, Markus kept an eye out for smaller life signs, the size of humans. The island was filled to the brim with living creatures, but most of them were massive dinosaurs and easily dismissed as unimportant. He didn't care about those creatures. Thanks to the increased level of his Haki he could see people's aura and get a decent handle on their strength. Now I have this image of Markus getting the lightning fruit and running for it, only for Luffy to hunt him down saying his crew members can't leave without permission.
Markus smiled softly as Laboon gave out a deafening cry of joy with tears in its eyes. Luffy was definitely an annoying idiot, but he had heart. Markus placed his hand over his chest and felt his ever calmly beating heart. He couldn't be like Luffy, it might take being an idiot to be like Luffy and inspire others as he did. He wondered if he could ever be like Luffy and the rest. The problem was, strictly speaking, he was only about two months old. Markus regulated his speed to stick directly behind Luffy. As they ran, Marines chased them from behind. They didn't stop though, Nami wanted them to get to the ship as soon as possible. However, someone stood in their way and called out Zoro. He stopped to fight her, Tashigi, the woman that looked like a clone of Kuina, his childhood friend and rival. There was a massive roar of thunder as a huge bolt of lightning fell down from the sky and struck Buggy and the execution platform. It was as if the heavens themselves were supporting Luffy. Immediately after, rain began to pour down from the sky. Luffy collected his hat from the ground and gave a cheeky grin and laugh, "Looks like I survived! Also, it has been proven that devil fruits like this still work underwater, the user just can't move. Luffy was stuck underwater, but his crew could stretch his head above water so he could breath.
Buggy's crew started to laugh drawing weird looks from everyone but Markus. He watched closely and the moment he saw Buggy's dismembered hand suddenly float in the air and charge at Zorro. Markus moved at that moment. He dashed between Zoro and Buggy's hand. He made a grab at Buggy's hand to try and catch it but he missed. The knife in Buggy's hand pierced into his stomach, the long blade piercing completely through his body. Markus grunted in pain but didn't miss the chance to grab tightly onto Buggy's hand. Truthfully, I think anyone would try to take revenge if they survived until they were old enough to do it.

Tom doesn't deserve Heri
It was early April when Heri managed to get Tom to come with him to the Hidden Room so they could talk. Tom was cold and gave him hard looks, but Heri pressed on and ended up spilling his guts to the taller boy. By the end, a few tears had even managed to escape his thick black eyelashes in his despair as he begged Tom for forgiveness and promised that he had decided to commit himself to helping Tom and making sure that nothing went wrong. Now this is prejudice. On Dumbledore's part. No matter their personal reasons, Tom's arguments are both valid and concerning.
The excuse did not seem to fly with Dumbledore at all. It was clear that he did not believe a muggle war was the reason for Tom's hesitation to return to the muggles. The fact was that he believed it was nothing more than prejudice in play. That Tom and Heri did not like to return to the muggle orphanage because they believed themselves better than their muggle fellows. And while that was actually true, the reason Tom did not wish to return was entirely based on the abuse the two suffered at the hands of the children and their caretakers. - Ajuda_Nova1dCommented

Tom managed to track down and acquire a couple snakes and often used them to attack and intimidate the other children, but Heri couldn't speak to snakes like Tom could. He was also still the smaller of the two, and the older boys often singled him out and used him as their personal punching bags. I mean, it is probably due to their core. What errected and maintained each of the wards? I'm guessing the founders didn't sacrifice themselves to do it.
