You can just change POVs while retaining a 1st person POV. It's pretty challenging to write a story in 3rd person while keeping the same level of immersion for the readers.

Have been following this story since chapter 30, it was and still is one of the best HP insert fics out there for me. I hope you'll be able to apply what you've learned from writing this book to the epilogue of this one. I'm really looking forward to seeing your next work.
