actually, laid is past for lay, and lay is past for lie. it's confusing since the difference between lay and lie in this manner is who is doing the action. if i lay the cup down, the cup doesn't lie itself, you do it for it. If he does the action of laying, then he lay down. lay is past of lie, but it isn't connected to the verb lay that i mentioned earlier. but that may sound weird so you could switch to the past participle form of lie, which is lain and say something like "he had lain down" you wouldnt say laid down because that would mean something was laid down by something else, but he isn't doing the action so you could say lay or had lain for him lying down.

god made him unable to train his mind with kana, so he wouldn't rely on mainly magic, and I assume spells are directions for mana, but he already does that to an extent with his current control of mana, ski don't think the god made it impossible to do spells, just train his mind

unless his sword has that ability when mana is injected

sorry for the delay, the last week has been a little bit crazy, thanks for your comments, they always motivate me!

I plan to kind of have different paths for people to get stronger, it's just that the first planet is eastern inspired. I don't plan on adding a lot of eastern fantasy, and I plan yo have him travel to a few other planets in the near future. I want this system to show how adaptable it is in different environments, which will allow him to thrive in any area.

thanks for the comment, I will hopefully have a lot of time during the break to make a lot of chapters and story board, I have the world building kind of done and have a direction in mind, but I only a few chapters ahead in planning currently so that's why I was able to release 5 in 2 days, I was also trying to keep chapters to around 1k words per chapter, does it feel too short to you?
