it's not saving, but it is still frustrating nonetheless. There are merits in keeping him alive for now. Information gathering, public trial (eg. for future stability of the empire), training (eg. to minimise future casualties and to increase the room for manoeuvre), and the fact that it is easier to identify the "filth" when the organisation still has a head. Still... he's constantly talking about killing him, only to turn around and say there is no rush.

They seem to have healed him some more. Back at the George of Death, he had trouble even standing with a staff, using both his hands. Earlier, before the second battle, he could stand with the staff in one hand and quite stable at that.
