I think it's a mistranslation, I think she meant the movie was good in all aspects, except the perfect ending. the word 'not' before the 'good' should be a mistake since the context doesn't make sense if it's there.

I'll take a guess that only the protagonist can know the illness of her mother despite there being more experienced doctors out there. or maybe it's not an illness but a type of gu or curse inflicted on her? I guess this is not yet to be determined. but if it's an illness, then uhh maybe it's an undetectable illness that only the protagonist can cure it? although I still like this novel, this type of situations still irritates me or something..

There are at least advanced medical equipment to determine the cause, right? or at least find an experienced or miracle doctor to diagnose her, right? This family is really. .....😤😤😤😤
