The main character is just so - damn - whiny !!! Gods does he ever juststop overthinking on these useless aspects of things. He's a bonafide coward and straight up unlikable. Whining about the miniscule amounts of work he has to do compared to literally every other nen user out there is pretty far from endearing. He's dumb too. I mean, his 'system' will allow him to create multiple nen abilities with extreme ease as his strenth progresses, but does he ever think to make them synergyse with eachother? No, he does not. He just wings it thb. Even then he still whines about having to actually think about what ability he wants his system to whip up for him. He's just such a loser. I can't help, but rant about it a little

I cringed so hard reading this that I might actually have a headache now. A vain and 'pardon-my-french' retarted main character that the author so desperately wants people to think is actually interesting and charismatic, despite EVERY. SINGLE. DIALOGUE. saying otherwise. Awful vocabulary. Awful grammar. Awful pacing. Awful settings and extreme OOC from beloved characters. The only reason I even bothered leaving a review is because this work has a much higher rating then it deserves.

It is generic to the point that it becomes boring. In essence, the protagonist replacing our favourite Uzumaki is statedly a master manipulator and schemer of sorts. Unfortunately, in every dialogue he is the very picture of your average 12 year old otaku. Reading it gives me second-hand embarrassment. On the other hand, the moments where he's under the pretext of manipulating people, it's so blatantly and painfully obvious, that all the believability and immersion is gone. It hits all predictable tropes in such a manner that by reading a few chapters you'll already have a rough outline on everything that'll happen from that point on, namely most "issues" and plot points he'll want to change being discribed as following: "Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Naruto. You should/shouldn't do, think or be this way. I'm a genius and smart, so you should follow my advice." "Oh okay, you are now my best friend.". This story loves to pretend that its characters aren't humans with complex desires and intricate personalities, but NPC's with preprogrammed responses. In the end, I think it lacks passion. I've realised I'm ranting now. It's most likely because I'm tired of reading these stories where the protagonist is supposed to be a genius, but thinks and talks like. an. idiot! 2,8 out of 5 and that's only because it is on WebNovel.com.

I have a whole lot to say about this fic, but nobody wants to read long ass paragraphs for a review, so here you go: Things I like about the fic : + it's written in a summarized way that I felt smooth and enjoyable to read + a cool headed protagonist, plans well and is clearly partly sociopathic + the author has included romance, but very limited and superficial + the grammar and descriptions are suprisingly good in some parts + magic power is cultivated similar to chinese cultivation novels + a healthy dose of face slapping and scheming + the story has an undertone of extreme rationality that agrees w me + no romance with very underage girls (thank god) + he hides his power as much as possible (a personal preference) + the author basically time-skips to the 4th HP book (I prefer this) Things I dislike about the fic : + my main issue is that the protagonist overexplains his though process to other characters through conversation; it lets us, the audience, in on his reasoning, but would be very akward and patronizing during an actual conversation; it gives me second hand embarrassment + the grammar and descriptions are suprisingly mediocre in other parts + it very often feels as though everything is too convenient for the protagonist and a lot of plot issues that progress the story solve themselves that way (e.g. he finds a ritual in his family library that unlike other rituals doesn't require personal sacrifice right when he needed it) + the romantic interactions are terrible, but the author is likely aware it is not his forté + it is admittedly a bit too smooth sailing for the protagonist These are just my personal thoughts. I thought it was great for WebNovel.com standards and therefore gave it 4 stars. On fanfiction.net though the standards are higher and the scores would be lower. Like if you think this is useful! An excellent hunter x hunter fanfiction. The hatsu are incredibly well done too. So many authors just take it as if just any conditions will suffice when creating a hatsu and that they can abuse loopholes. To me, nen doesn't work like that, so well done.

What a banger!! I love your main character. For me that is a welcome surprise. I usually find it hard to relate to non-reincarnated male leads in 'My Hero Academia'-fanfictions. (Most likely because teenagers are more often then not quite annoying in my opinion. They are cesspools of hormones and insecurities with an incessant need to be liked. Going through puberty once was quite enough thank you very much.)

Surprisingly, this is actually just an old wives tale. Not true at all.

I most enjoyed the chapters from the dark continent exploration arc. I didn't expect myself to enjoy any 'interpretation' not put together by Togashi. Aaand I've achieved the neccecary word count to post a review. Cheers
