OK, I don't know why the author gives those names. These are the ones that are supposed to be correct, and it's a translation from those names to the canon names. Raikōha Kiba Kubikiribōchō Kubikiribōchō Kiba-Fugu Hiramekarei Nagamaki-Fūhari Nuibari Deba-Kogatana Kabutowari Bakuhatsu-Fūum Shibuki
Raikoha? It should be Kiba the Twin Swords
Background I read this fanfic because the universe of Suits is honestly amazing and full of potential. There are so many great fan fictions out there that are creative, clever, and feel like an extension of the show. So I went into this one thinking it could be something exciting or at least give a new take on the story. Plot and Coherence This fanfic feels like it was written with AI. That is not automatically bad because AI is a tool, but you need to prompt it correctly, and you need to proofread what it produces. That clearly did not happen here. One of the most basic rules of the show is that Pearson Hardman only hires from Harvard. That is literally core Suits lore. Yet the fanfic keeps mentioning Princeton or other universities. That immediately breaks immersion. There is also a whole chapter about the main character's morning routine and how it defines him. Then that routine is ignored and changed later like it never mattered. It feels like the story contradicts itself because there was no editing. There are also moments where the writing talks about events that have not even happened yet, which shows that the text was never checked before publishing. Characterization The characters feel empty. They do not sound like themselves and they come off as much less intelligent than they really are in the show. It feels like they were written that way on purpose just to make the main character look smarter. The result is that no one has personality and the writing loses the spark that Suits normally has. Suits is all about sharp dialogue, strategy, and tension. None of that is really captured here. Writing Style and Grammar Grammar is not the worst, but the writing has a lot of structural problems. Scenes do not connect, ideas jump around, and there are moments that fully contradict earlier chapters. It reads like raw AI text that no one took the time to shape into a proper story. Even just reading through it once and fixing the contradictions would help a lot. World-Building and Background It uses the same general world as Suits, which is not bad, but nothing feels memorable. There are no details, no atmosphere, nothing that makes you visualize Pearson Hardman or feel that pressure-filled office environment. The world feels empty, like a sketch instead of a real place. Personal Impact My feelings were mixed. I was happy to see someone attempt a Suits fanfic, because that already takes effort. But I was also uncomfortable because it could have been so much better. Suits fanfiction can be incredible when it is done right. In a strange way, this fanfic might help the community by inspiring others to write stories that check every box. Even if someone wants to use AI, they can still do it the right way. It is not about the tool, it is about how you use it. Strengths Interesting idea that could have become something good. It might motivate others to write better and more creative Suits fanfiction. Weaknesses Canon-breaking details, especially the Harvard hiring rule. Story contradicts itself and feels unedited. Characters lack personality and depth. Final Recommendation Right now, I cannot recommend this fanfic as something to read for enjoyment. It is more something you read to understand what happens when a story is published without review or intention behind it. But if you are someone who wants to write Suits fanfic, this might give you the push to create one that truly matches the energy of the show. Rating: 3 out of 10
