did someone have a stroke here 😅
Too much information dumping all at once! It's distracting and makes it difficult to follow the storyline. It would be better to slowly dribble bits in here and there through the story rather than to pause everything to ramble about stuff barely relevant to current happenings. Once or twice is okay but to do it constantly through every chapter in the book gets to be a bit much.
to each their own
I was reading this in public and had a friend ask me what it was about 😳🥲.... really hard to come up with a quick lie when you get suddenly pulled out of your fantasy dream suddenly.
you absolutely did this on purpose 👀
"I won't tell anyone" proceeds to tell the very next person he sees everything. 💀

I really like this book but I really wish the brother complex would die down a little as they develop. having siblings of my own, this grosses me out a bit 🤢
why do I smell a rat?
my bet is he has a way to understand the kid didn't lie at all
there was a fine print of *unless you have the blood of the creature you shape shift into*. so in otherworldly you can shape shift into anything but to use racial abilities you need to have their blood with it
