SX physically attacked and scarred SJ face. SJ ran from her brother after she saw him give the one who bullied and scarred her a gift. I’m pretty sure any normal teenager would do the exact same thing. I would. Not only that she was told her family abandoned her. She was abused mentally and physically. She only craved care and affection which she had received from CL when younger so she chased after him. In no way was her actions bratty or disrespectful. Yes her family didn’t know but she also didn’t know. The only people at fault are SX and her mother who lied, ostracized, abandoned, abused and neglected SJ. She went through a great deal of trauma which anyone who has had anyone of those things happen to them wouldnt act like a perfect child. Many still suffer from such things. The author did a great job of showcasing how a normal child would react to such trauma.
