The title of the original novel is A Naive Short Tempered Girl and its supposed to be completed at 800+ pages. Pure girl could be another name so you may not be wrong there. While I can't comment in your review since I only read the first few pages of the book although I hope you're referring to a different book. I agree with you I hate loser FLs books with a passion. Just a thought...Manga version may not be so sicko...I hope. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll go back to reading further chapters and promptly stop at the first signs before I throw up. lol

Wasted my time waiting, when I got to the part where the ML's party was happening I thought again maybe things turnaround after this...but what a disappointment especially when you read the ML's thoughts by author later. You are correct about the emotional connection though...there was none conveyed to me throughout except how each can take advantage of the other. I can't believe the book got selected as an option for Voting. Scary to think this type of book appeals enough to have that happen. Yuch!

Reading this now...Yeah! Author's FL is my kinda gal. Strong but with very human failings. Coming off her previously read book Star Crossed in time...one of my all time favs...and so glad this book also has one of my favs about author...she writes the ML's POVs too. Typically books have FL POVs only and we have to guess from facial descriptions or way into book before we figure how ML feels...not good enough for me...lol Looking forward to another thrilling ride, Author :-)

What an amazing story teller the author is. Never lets up right up to almost end of book! There's so much material here for a Fantasy TV Drama...but doubt it can convey the written words of author. First book I've ever read that amalgamates modern world with fantasy world so well and so much fun yet bringing some of the darker elements of our current society. FL is so so funny even when she's so damaged but she just shines through...literally...read the book and you'll know what I mean. I wish the book didn't end but the author likes to tie up all the loose ends so can't complain. Aaah. WHAT A RIDE! Off to read her next book here and every other book author's writing...I'd love to be able to see what else is in her head....hahaha. EVERYONE READ TH8S BOOK...you won't regret it.

Yeap. This one is good...I can tell from the raws that its not like the Goodnight Mr. JI, when FL never stopped being bullied or trashed by ML till last few chapters. This book has an end to the ML trashing and we get to see FL on top or equal...lol Love books that portray women as strong or better, equals, and not male punching bags.

To this same trial read book, Goodnight Mr Ji. Webnovel likes to "pin" good reviews on the front pages of all books which is mis leading if they dont update the reviews over time with newer comments. Is this even complete? Or are the updates stopped. Author is not one like many here in WN with abandoned novels hence my question. She references this book as complete in her other book's synopsis. Anyone who's read till the end?

Lol. I waited but ML never got there. The FL seemed strong at some parts of the beginning chapters and I waited but she never got there either especially when it came to the ML encounters from the time they did the deed. The only good thing the author did was write the thoughts of the ML which many authors don't only the FL's but his thoughts reflected his dickhead actions throughout the book until the last 2 chapters when he realized he was wrong...the FL continues being a loser to the end in their relationship except with other chars...well I dont read a romance book for the other chars. I was intrigued bcos of earlier chapters to when he produced the contract and she walked out seeming like a strong FL...but that was it...the next time she came back it was downhill from the authors writing. Maybe some readers like this but I dont enjoy an FL who never gets back up.

Horrendous book. Read the raws after the promising starting chapters with misunderstandings not cleared to almost the end pages of book. ML is one of the worst of dickheads strewn in many Chinese novels. FL sounds strong but is weak against ML in their encounters that I gave up waiting for the strong FL to show up in story. ML will not realize he's a shithead till last pages so those wanting lovely puffy romance you'll be disappointed. Dont waste your coins and time on this to be resurrected.
