I just spent 10 min in the wiki, So apparently gu is an insect (cultivation world insect) that bonds with a host. The host feeds the insect an energy and in turn the insect creates an ability (that crescent moonlight slash ability) for the host to use. Each gu has different abilities. The gu are ranked from 1-9 (imagine cultivation system 1 is lowest 9 is immortal). The moonlight gu is ranked 1

Translation is great, and story is nice in the first half. However it goes a bit downhill when the mc starts acting like a cheater doing everything in his power to not let Wanda and Gwen know about eachother. I have no problem with harems and stuff but this mc is so cowardly and manipulative that he will stop at nothing to keep lying to both Gwen and Wanda about the other. The whole thing gives off cheater vibes and makes the mc feel like a rat of a man who won’t man up and stop lying to the women he “loves”. It also feels like Wanda always gets the short straw and the mc is more invested in Gwen. The whole dynamic feels like Wanda is the wife and Gwen is the secret mistress, making you feel bad for Wanda and slowly hate the mc
