yea danzo isn't a great teacher and vastly overestimates his own men. Plus these gate guards fought hidan an S rank ninja. If its not the jonin's under his command the gate guards got about a 50-50 shot to win or get packed up.

Okay here is how it works for me. Young Hiruzen could beat all three of the legendary Sanin at the same time. When he lost to Orochimaru he was pushing 70 years old, that snake bastard would not have done that to Hiruzen in his prime 100%. One of the legendary Sanin is enough to kill the Kazekage, and is as strong as any of the other kages like the Raikage. So Hiruzen is High Kage level, The Third Raikage is High kage level because he took on 10,000 shinobi during the third shinobi war. But the fourth Raikage being his son is medium Kage level. Mei Terumi who wasn't able to beat Yagura, who could be defeated by a young itachi and who was also controlled by a 20 year old Obito is considered low Kage level. I think Kakuzu might be strong enough to beat Mei and maybe Yagura, but is for sure weaker than A the fourth Raikage. And Onoki would one shot him. Kakuzu meets the standard of Kage but he's on the low spectrum.

100 percent blind, lost her eyes using the izanagi technique, might need to go back and re read it to make sure it points that out more obviously. This is the first version, I sometimes go back and change it.

I've read a lot of fanfics and a lot of them start when the person is a child at the academy, and they grow to be this untouchable prodigy. I honestly just got tired of the style. Its like the idea of that only a child can improve and grow stronger. I just wanted to build a different character. Not to mention this is more of a slice of life fanfic that has action.
