I'm glad they're not a perfectly honed fighting force right out of the gates. Too many novels skip that arc of development.

The funeral home in the title gets no focus, leaving the story as a chain of idiot streamers dying. It's fine, but I don't think I'd recommend it if you don't have a grudge against streamers.

Sort of a bummer this half of his life is getting glossed over. It seems like a natural source of drama and a good counterpoint to the streaming stuff.

Even if he missed all his pending follows, his hit rate would be truly absurd.

You basically can. Anything with enough sugar content, at least. Even stuff like carrots, although it doesn’t come up as much.
