Uhhh….. have u thought about if u suddenly turned out to be part of a very powerful family and said family has dark connections to other dark factions? I mean say u are related to the head of cartel, would u just start spouting that shit out loud? I mean seriously, u sound like the dumb one bc that is just a one way ticket to getting assassinated or abducted by the angel faction

Honestly, the translation really takes a lot out of it. Keeping Chinese names instead of translating them really creates whiplash and unfamiliarity with the content. By chapter 3, I had no idea what the character was talking about half the time. I had to read comments to even understand what was happening. Story development is slow, held back by its translation. Honestly, I think part of the reason I dropped out so fast was bc I’m unfamiliar with the game region he is referring to since i didn’t play it. Subsequently, I agreed with other readers when they said there is no reason rock/ground/fighting/ or even steel Pokemon aren’t prevalent. The only reason it was that way was to create a closed plot for the game, u don’t need to follow it when u are living in that world. U basically chose the most boring region to be in so that u can reason that he didn’t have pokemon. Character design is slightly lacking just bc the story is lacking. It would have been fine if the plot and actions weren’t so lackluster. World background is either severely lacking by design or completely absent due to choosing the most unpokemon place possible

Black Rock is a corporate entity that is taking advantage of a loophole in home ownership laws. They buy all the newly built homes and rent them out for profit. Basically Airbnb but on a grand scale. So basically they are one of the reasons the housing market is so absurd right now and why there is so many homeless in the US
