I started reading the novel after watching the live action series because i was curios how the original story will go, as the story in the live action series was changed so that the romance between Wei ying and Lan zhan is cut out. All in all, i didn’t regret reading this novel AT ALL, because it’s one of the best BL i’ve ever read. From the characters, plot, and the whole development in the story is just perfect in my opinion.
