This chapter is a breath of fresh air.

ngl, the chapters do tend to get repetitive especially the format. He goes to an event, he observes then someone notices him when he thinks they shouldn't have. Then they interrogate him and rinse and repeat. I think a little variety would do the story some good

Great story but.... First off, MC isn't an instant football god, not everything goes his way, and the progression is done beautifully. The sport part of the story is written well in my opinion. Full of ups and downs. With that, this is deserving of five stars if not for the one thing holding it back; too much drama. Warning!!! Spoiler below: He has an ex friend(that's a wonderkid) turned rival that slept with his ex girlfriend. That's fine, but the author seems insistent on making the MC decision revolve around him. Got a call up for italian team, doesn't want to go since he will be teammates with him. Got offered a nike deal but immediately rejected it after seeing his rival was already part of the company. Not to mention the fact that his new love interest got mad about him for the decision (since she was connected to Nike) and there comes another unnecessary and drawn-out drama about miscommunication since in the latest chapter (158) as of this writing, it still isn't resolved. Not to mention he also has family drama(this one is still mild so I can tolerate it...for now) With how the story is going, I'm not gonna be surprised if the his new LI will be involved with the freaking rival for more drama. (The new LI is looking for an ambassador for her shoe design which was supposed to be the MC but since he refused Nike, I'm betting the opportunity will be given to the rival. From there, more misunderstandings will be formed and drama continues...) That said, I'll continue to support the story for now since the football side of it is really well done. Hope my prediction on the direction of the story won't come true...really hoping...
