Use smaller sentences for better clarity and readability
She gained consciousness sitting in a cab, with a shawl drawn over her. The cab driver was relieved to see her awake and suddenly asked her if she was okey, and kind of blatantly asked her if the old guy was someone she knew. Although a bit dazed, she remembered the incident, and read the situation, and quickly defused the misunderstanding. The old guy, who was sitting beside her quietly until now, gave her a kind smile. You need a "yet" before he was not bothered! How does someone suffice with two pieces of bread? ~_~
Even though the school was pretty new, the lack of maintenance made it hard to realize that the building was only 6 years old. Anirudh strolled down the passage, passing by the classrooms bustling with overenthusiastic children screaming and jumping, although he didn't seem to be annoyed by the noise. As much as he hated the unnecessary noise, he was not bothered by the small children jumping, running, playing with each other. He sat down on a slab against the disfigured pillar, and focused on the two slices of bread he was holding.
