I usually write for 30 minutes with something off of my head, like for say i want to make a story about a kid that fell into a sink hole in his home?(l don't know why ok), i would write about it for 20 or so minutes with what I thought about originally and than customize it after with what other ideas I thought about and work with it, but in the end I would take a break every other 10 minutes to watch something or look at. Than I can get a better idea of what i want me and the reader to know and understand.
The trick is to write your idea down first- write absolute garbage if that's what's in your mind... once done, keep refining it till it shines. - GodTheeOG23hCommented
